Amberzine Magazine issue 19 – LIGHTNESS
EDITOR’S NOTE
Refreshed after winter, we enter the spring. We are fond and blessed with our new website design; we have updated and revealed our potential even more, and now we are ready to delight you, dear readers, with flowers and fruits of our creativity.
The theme of our issue is Lightness. Indeed, this is the most appropriate subject for the spring-summer 2021 season. We all need to add some light to our lives and especially strong craving for this comes after long winter twilight days and a lasting lockdown. Designers broadcast their own moods, which go in tune with the mood of people, and it is obvious that in the new season all attention will be focused on colour solutions.
Monochrome looks from summer shades such as white, sky blue, buttercream, baked milk, dusty pink, and lavender – this is a new take on the natural colour palette, illustrating nature. Jacquemus, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Chloe, Hermes, Ulla Johnson, Alberta Ferretti, Zimmermann, Escada, Simone Rocha, Michael Kors Collection, Lanvin and many other designers prefer floating silhouettes, aerial feel of clothes in calm, delicate and attractive shades diluting them with splashes of fabrics with glitter.
Natural light colours prevail in fashion and this is in line with the trend of sustainable development. Our commitment to flexibility and versatility in colours that will work all year round. The saturation and shades of the spring-summer 2021 season are filled with true authenticity that commands our everyday priorities. They combine levels of comfort and relaxation with sparks of energy that inspire and uplift. After staying at home for several months due to quarantine restrictions, the designers in the new collections drew inspiration from nature and colours reminiscent
of a cloudless summer day, bringing a breath of fresh air to streetwear and everyday looks.
Love,
