Riga Fashion Week AW2025
A Celebration of Innovation, Heritage, and Conscious Fashion
From April 7 to 10, Riga Fashion Week 2025 brought together visionary designers from Latvia and beyond, offering a fascinating dialogue between tradition and modernity, sustainability and glamour, craftsmanship and experimentation. Each runway presented not only clothing but also an artistic statement, a reflection on culture, and an invitation to imagine the future of fashion.
This season, Amberzine highlights the standout collections that defined Riga Fashion Week 2025.

Verens
Under the theme “Where are you?”, Verens explored human connections and chance encounters. Latvian lace took center stage, woven into corsets, silk bustiers, and slip dresses. Traditional craftsmanship harmonized with contemporary tailoring, offering a collection for those who express individuality through style. The checked patterns and soft wools reinforced a dialogue between heritage and modern elegance.

Una Berzina
Una Bezina transformed personal memory into wearable art. Inspired by her grandfather, the collection borrowed elements of men’s wardrobes — jackets, knits, embroidery — and softened them with sheer fabrics. A monochromatic palette of black, white, and smoky gray emphasized intimacy and nostalgia, merging strength with fragility.

The Polish brand Szczygiel showcased its distinctive blend of upcycling and artisanal techniques. Playing with recycled fabrics, architectural lines, and organic motifs, the collection embodied sustainable elegance. Small-batch production and conscious design placed emphasis on texture and structure, redefining the relationship between natural forms and modern fashion.

Ivo Nikkolo
Estonian brand Ivo Nikkolo, led by designer Trin Kaiv, celebrated life’s small pleasures with “Microjoys”. The collection unfolded in three narratives: seasonal change, everyday rituals, and self-expression. Metallic fabrics, knitwear, and crinkled satin enriched flowing silhouettes that radiated optimism and effortlessness.
